 This article is the subject of an interview by the French magazine 'Electronique'; when their EDA expert Catherine Gross talked to Andy Slade about the software currently available to assist the design engineer in his quest to reach EMC compliance for the European Market Place. In the interview Andy discussed the problems the electronic engineer faces when designing High Speed or High Frequency designs, which led into a discussion about the different solutions offered by the EDA software vendors. He discussed in detail the Redac Design Advisor approach and described the advantages of this approach, which is also offered by other EDA companies.
