Background Experience
Marion Slade of AMS has spent four years working in a supervisory position in a research environment at a German University. Since returning to England she has, for the past ten years, worked for the English division of a German electro-plating manufacturer, who also market German paint products. Much of her time was spent translating technical documents for use in the English speaking market.
Andy Slade has over 30 years experience in the electronic engineering and IT industries, working in Germany and the UK.

Services
In addition to technical documentation, AMS Consultants provide a support service translating daily communications – faxes, memos, invoices etc. We accept all popular word processor formats and deliver the final translation in similar formats. Diagrams and graphics are no problem. We have scanning and colour printing facilities up to A3 paper size.
We also accept terminology data and packages in the TRADOS format for those companies with such facilities.

What will it cost you?
Our standard rates are £65 (100 Euros) per 1000 German words, but depend on quantity and turn around time. For small documents we can arrange a small quarterly retainer fee, which will enable you to have your faxes and short letters translated on a quick turn-around basis.
